Seward Harbor Virtually equipped with every comfort and amenity you would
expect from a 45' vessel, Destiny has been a welcome addition
to our fleet. During late May and the month of June, she explores
the waters near Montague Island, battling huge halibut on a
daily basis. As testament to her success, during June of 2000
, 19 days in a row she returned to the dock with halibut over
175 pounds! |

During July and August the Destiny primarily chases (and catches) Silver salmon, rock fish and ling cod. By special arrangement she will head out to Montague Island during these months as well. Powered by twin turbo diesels, the Destiny can achieve speeds up to 35 knots, making it one of the very fastest boats operating out of the Seward harbor! This translates into less time running and more time fishing. |

Other Sea-going Vessels During the months of July and August the vessels "Jedi", "Chewbaca" and "Yoda" team up with the Destiny chasing Silver salmon and Ling Cod. Freshwater Boats Kenai River Willie Boats of Medford, Oregon, is recognized as one of the premier builders and designers of river boats in the Northwest. Our fleet of river boats are 20' Willie Predators with a beam of 8'. These are large, stable, roomy boats that are perfect for a days fishing on the Kenai River. These vessels are powered by quiet, clean burning 4-stroke engines built by Yamaha and Mercury. |

Kasilof River The Kasilof River is an extremely shallow river, perfect for MacKenzie style drift boats. We use 20' drift boats outfitted with four jump seats. These are stable vessels and are powered exclusively by your guide. No motors here, it it is just too shallow. This is very exciting as you latch onto a big King salmon and your guide does everything in his power to chase the mighty fish! |
Gear and Tackle 6/0 circle hooks baited with a variety of
chunk bait, along with jigs, are the very most effective way
to entice Halibut in these waters to bite. Your Captain and
deckhand will bait your hooks and instruct you on technique
and assist you in any possible way to insure that you have a
trip of a lifetime. |

There's a surprising diversity in fishing Alaska! Depending on the fish you're after, the tackle, the boat, and the challenges are different. |
