The event takes place during the longest days of the endless Alaska
Summer...when the gorgeous Alaska Fireweed (our State Flower) is at
its very fullest bloom.
The Fireweed Festival takes place at Tim's
Trophy Lodge, located right on the
banks of the mighty Kenai River, home to the world-record King Salmon.
Tim Berg was born and raised in Napa Valley. This Summer Tim is bringing
part of Napa Valley's Culinary Scene To Alaska!!

Each Fireweed Festival offering is paired with hand crafted wines. But
it gets even better. Executive Chef/Owner Bob Hurley from Hurley's Restaurant

wonderful and exciting menu's each day.

Each day after a full day of guided fishing guests will return to the
Trophy Lodge...Master Winemaker Jim Allen will be generously pouring
his fabulous wines beginning around 4 PM each day. Executive Chef Bob
Hurley will be busy in the lodge kitchen....the result is gourmet dining
and wine pairings hard to equal anywhere!!
This is an incredible opportunity to visit with Executive Chef Bob
Hurley and Napa's Legendary Winemaker Jim Allen, founder of Sequoia
Grove Winery. Jim will be hosting this event each evening and sharing
stories and secrets of Napa Valley's historical past. He will be sharing
inside information on what it takes to create really great wines. Jim's
roots go back to the later 1960's when Napa Valley was just getting
its stqrt...few people had ever heard of Napa Valley and few could ever
dream of how successful this industry would someday become.

Hi,
I am really excitied about this trip. Come join us in Alaska at Tim
Berg's Fishing Lodge this coming June ....... I will be heading there
with Executive Chef Bob Hurley his wife Cynthia to join Tim and Carol
Berg at The Trophy Lodge, located on Alaska's Kenai River.
Chef Hurley is a master at creating incredible flavors...he specializes
in wild game, including pheasant, wild boar, antelope, quail, venison,
elk, ostrich..to name a few..and the presentations are always a masterpiece.
I will be pouring some of my wonderful Napa Valley wines , new and old
from Sequoia Grove...and a few other wines that aren't from my own cellar.
(We have a couple of surprises in store for you).
We will have an outstanding offering of wines that are hard to find
and some from small boutique wineries you have never heard of!!
This is a wonderful chance to meet new friends, catch a lot of fish,
try new wines and enjoy great cuisine....one thing for sure...we are
