Once you hook into one of these big sharks, the battle is on! Sizzling runs in excess of 400 yards is not uncommon. We use 200 pound test main line with 20 feet of 800 pound stainless steel leader. The fight can last well over half an hour... and many of these great sharks go airborne ... destroying the tackle in the process.
